Ingeborg was the daughter of king Erik Knutsson and his wife Rikissa, born between 1210 and 1217 (her father died in April 1216).
She married the jarl Birger Magnusson possibly about 1235–1237, at least before 1241. Together they had eight children.[1]
It is suggested that Ingeborg died of childbirth in 1254. What we know for certain is that her husband remarried in 1261 so her death would be placed sometime between 1254--1261.
From merged profile; Her marriage is confirmed by a charter dated 4 Nov 1246 in which “Ericus…rex Swethie” names “domino Birgero genero nostro”[156].
