Biography
Dorothea Fair, daughter to Barnabas Farr, was born about 1766 in Windsor Township, Berks, Pennsylvania.
Dorothea married David Linville in about 1785. To this union were born at least eleven children; George, Mary, Betty, Nancy, Moses, John, Barbara, Charity, David, Benjamin and Dorothy.
Dorothea passed away sometime after 1820 in Stokes.
- In his will, David (Linville) left land and personal possessions to Dorothy; however, if she remarried, she was to relinquish everything except "one mare, one saddle, one cow and calf, and one feather bed and furniture" with the balance to be divided amongst the five last born children, Charity, Barbara, David, Fewel, and Dorothy.
Named as wife in David's will.
"Grandfather and grandmother Linville - David Linville; Dorotha Linville -- maiden name Dorotha Fair."
NOTE: Parentage, DOB/POB and DOD are all best guesses.
