Hi Nancy, it's been eleven days since I asked if your still interested in the US Civil War Project, are you still interested? If I haven't heard from you in the next ten days, I'll assume that your interest in the project has changed and you've moved on to other things. I'd appreciate hearing from you. Thank you.

Pam Kreutzer, Leader of the US Civil War Project

Hi Pam, yes, I'm still interested. I'm currently researching the supply routes from the Ohio River through Beverly, WV to Augusta VA and how the struggle to control the route affected the troops and people during the Civil War.

Thank you for all you do.

Hi Nancy, that sounds like a really facinating topic your researching, hope your doing a space page on it :) I'll mark you as still interested. Pam

Yes, Mary, I am still actively researching. I continue to research the men who lived on Tygart's Valley River and their contributions to the American Revolution.

Thank you!

Sorry, Mary, that I didn't see this when it was first posted. Yes, I am still researching the Revolutionary War. I became a member of the lineage Society Washington's Descendants at Valley Forge, and in the process helped some Wikitree members sort through their possible connections to their Patriots. Together, we made some headway tracing the Bogarts/ Bogards from Kingston, New York, to New Jersey and onward to Virginia, Kentucky and Tennesee. It was fascinating to learn of the circumstances the inhabitants faced that compelled them to migrate. Thanks!

Hi Pam,

Yes, please, keep me a member of the Civil War project. I am particularly interested in the Civil War Soldiers that were from the Virginia Counties of Highland and Bath, plus the WV counties that bordered them.

Hi Nancy, I just wanted to thank you for all the work you've done to improve the US Civil War Between the States Project. I'm doing a check-in with all project members and wanted to verify that you're still interested in being a member of the project. Also, any suggestions for the Project would be welcome. I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

Hello,

I am checking in on behalf of the 1776 Project to announce the new project membership requirements and to verify that you are still interested in being a member of the project. All project members are being asked to join one of the project teams and also to make at least one project contribution every 6 months. We are also asking all project members to join the project's Google Group for project communications.

If you are interested in remaining with the Project, please reply to this comment or send me a message, request to join the Google Group, and let us know what team you would like to participate on.

We really appreciate your contributions on WikiTree, and thank you for all your hard work. If you have any questions, please ask. We would also love to hear any feedback you may have for the project.

If we don't hear back from you we will assume that you no longer wish to participate in the project and if so, you could rejoin at any time as is convenient for you.

We look forward to hearing from you soon!

Good Job on the info for Corneilus Bogard of Bullitt County, Kentucky. Pleasure working with you. ;)
Hi Nancy, My Great Grandpa from New York was a Bogart/Bogard. I know nothing about them, and have had the hardest time finding family so far. (I think I'm one of the only people researching it). It also says we are 16th cousins on my Moms side too. =)

Hi Nancy..

I was looking at your page to determine a DNA match. You match 3 tests that I administer. Myself, my sister and a guy named Don Coppini. Now Don is a man I tested to find my Swiss roots, I was surprised by this match. Can you tell which side we are related to you on? Don is A175872, my sister and I are A663507 and A125616

Welcome to the 1776 Project (http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:1776), a subproject of the Military and War Project: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Projects#Military_and_War_Project

There are category links to add to your ancestor's profiles and research links to learn more about your family. The Project is a good way to consolidate the WikiTree ancestors with historic connections to the years of 1773 (Boston Tea Party) to 1789 (ratification of the U.S. Constitution.) All patriot, loyalist, Hessians, French, Native Americans or any other profiles with a connection to these years should be linked to an appropriate category in the Project.

If you haven’t already, please set your preferences for your Tags Followed to include 1776 Project and any other tag terms that you wish to follow: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:Following

Some categories have a template (SAR) to add at the top of a biography. If not, add a category link by putting the category name such as Template:1776 for those who bore arms in the Revolution and Template:1776 for those who contributed patriotic or civil service. Thank you.
