Biography

James Owen Farley was born on 17 Mar 1845 . It is unclear if he was born in Haleysville, Winston Co., Alabama or in Blount Co., Alabama. In 1860, he did live in Blount Co. He was 15 years old. At age 17, when he married Elizabeth Baldwin on 7 march 1863. At the age of 25, his mother Ruth Hatley Farley passed away in Winston Co., Alabama. At age 27, his first son, William Irvin Farley was born. In 1888, his father, William Farley, passed away.James was 42. At age 75, on Jan 1, 1921, his wife passed away. At age 77, in 1922, he married Hulda Ann Baldwin (1856-1932). At the age of 81 in 1926, James passed away in Arley and was buried in Arley, Winston Co., Alabama. James passed away in 26 Dec 1926 in Arley, Winston, Alabama, USA.

James was buried at Mount Hope Cemetery, Arley, Alabama. His memorial has photos and links to those of family members.[1]
