Biography

Catherine Mary Hopkins was born on 3 Jul 1907 in Elk, Washington to Milton Finley and Della Faucett

Catherine Mary's brother William G. was born 14 Jun 1910, in Camden, Washington when Catherine Mary was 3 years old.

In 1910 her family continued to live in Elk, Washington where her father worked as a General Merchant.

Catherine Mary's sister Gertrude B. was born in 1919 in Spokane County, Washington, when Catherine Mary was 13 years old.

In 1920 Catherine Mary was living in Flathead, Flathead County, Montana with her family and two cousins, 10 year old Cora S Burner and 8 year old, John E Burner.

On 6 January 1923 Catherine's sister Gladys Mae died in Flathead County, Montana and was buried in the Conrad Memorial Cemetery in Kalispell Montana.

In 1930 Catherine Mary lived on her own in Kalispell, Flathead, Montana and worked as a school teacher.

On 03 Feb 1932 Catherine married Harry L. Hopkins in Kalispell, Flathead, Montana. Their marriage was witnessed by witnessed by Alice White and Marion Wilson

Her daughter Jacquelyn was born about 1932, in Montana.

In 1935 Catherine lived in Jocko, Flathead County, Montana with her husband.

Her son Milton Howard Hopkins was born 26 MAY 1936, in Montana.

In 1940 she continued to live in Jocko, Flathead County, Montana and according to the census did not work in 1939.

Catherine Mary's father Milton Finley passed away on May 18, 1941, in Lake County, Montana, at the age of 65.

Catherine Mary's mother Della Faucett passed away on June 16, 1959, in Teton County, Montana, at the age of 75.

Catherine Mary's brother Raymond Madford died on January 13, 1976, in Bigfork, Montana when Catherine Mary was 68 years old.

Her son Milton Howard Hopkins died on 18 Aug 1981 in Bigfork, Flathead, Montana. He was buried in the Lone Pine Cemetery in Bigfork, Montana with the inscription "GM3 US NAVY KOREA"

Her husband Harry L. passed away on October 14, 1981, in Flathead, Montana, at the age of 79. They had been married 49 years.

On 21 Jul 1991 Catherine died and was buried in the Glacier Memorial Gardens cemetery in Kalispell, Flathead County, Montana
