Biography
William Ferguson was born in Scotland.
William Ferguson was born on the 21st of November 1826, in Wigtownshire, Scotland, the 3rd of 11 children of John Ferguson and Susannah Millar.[1][citation needed]
At 14, in 1841, he was an agricultural Labourer in Croft at Clary, Penninghame, Wigtownshire, Scotland with his parents and 6 younger siblings.[2]
At 24, on the 1st of April, 1851, he married Mary Ann Williams in Morris County, New Jersey, United States, and they had 8 children.[3][4]
At 36, on the 7th of November, 1862, he died, in Darwin, Clark, Illinois, United States, and was buried in York Cemetery, York, Clark County, Illinois, United States.[1]
