At 24, on the 1st of April, 1851, he married Mary Ann Williams in Morris County, New Jersey, United States, and they had 8 children.[3][4]
At 36, on the 7th of November, 1862, he died, in Darwin, Clark, Illinois, United States, and was buried in York Cemetery, York, Clark County, Illinois, United States.[1]
