Bertie James Fernance was born on 02 May 1905 in Gosford, New South Wales, Australia as the second child of Joseph Fernance and Stella Waters. He had six siblings, namely: Ella Grace, Warren Edgar, Laura Roma, Keith Leigh, Irene Jane, and Noel Allan Joseph. He died on 27 Oct 1952[1] in Gosford, New South Wales, Australia. When he was 26, he married Nellie Jane Stackman,daughter of William Thomas Stackman and Victress May Waters, on 01 Jun 193[2] in Gosford, New South Wales, Australia.
