Martha was born 29th July 1849[1] at Chelsea, Middlesex, England[2] and was baptised 3rd January 1850 at St. James, Westminster, Middlesex, England, the daughter of Edward Finch (coachman) and Susanna Finch of 4 Charles Mews, Lowndes Square.[3]
