Biography

Mehitable Fish was born on 13 March 1716/17 in Sandwich, Barnstable County, (then) Province of Massachusetts Bay, the daughter of Seth Fish and Mary Turner. [1] Mehitable married Thomas Sears of Plymouth, as his second wife, on 23 April 1752 in Sandwich.[2] Widow Mehitable Sears' inventory, "late of Sandwich" was filed 6 Feb 1769 by Prince Tupper Administrator, foots up to £26.13.8

Two daughters born: Mary born 1753 who died in infancy, and Marcy born 3 May 1755 in Plymouth, married Capt. Samuel Smith in 1773 in Sandwich.
