Biography

George Fish, born 20 Mar 1763 at Groton, Connecticut, was the sixth child of Abigail Fish (1730-1790) and Jonathan Fish (1723-1796) [1],[2].

George married Sarah Hinckley Jan. 20, 1785 at Groton, Connecticut. Ten children resulted from this union.

George Fish died 24 Jan 1847 at Groton. His grave is in Lower Mystic Cemetery, W. Mystic, New London County, Connecticut [3].
