Sarah Fleming was born on the 4th of April, 1822, in Penninghame, Wigtonshire, Scotland, United Kingdom and christened there on the 13th of April, 1822, [1] the daughter of William and Jean (Hannah) Fleming.[2][3]
She was evidently named after her elder sister who died in 1921 at 5 years.[citation needed]
At 2, on the 5th of December, 1824, her twin brothers William Fleming[4] and John Taylor Fleming[citation needed] were born in Wigtownshire, Scotland, United Kingdom.
At 5, on the 13th of January, 1828, her sister Isabella Fleming was born in Penninghame, Wigtownshire, Scotland, United Kingdom[5]
At 19, in 1841, she was living at Old Hall, Penninghame, Wigtownshire, Scotland with her parents and siblings.[6]
At 29, in 1851, she was a house servant in the household of Peter and Margaret Kevan living on the north side of High Street, Wigtown, Wigtownshire, Scotland.[7]
At 29, on the 1st of September, 1851, she married William Dickson at Penninghame, Wigtownshire, Scotland[8]>and they had 3 children.
At 40, on the 12th of January, 1863, her father William Fleming died, in Penninghame, Wigtownshire, Scotland, United Kingdom, at 73.[citation needed]
At 39, in 1861, she was living with William and their 3 children Taliesin Street, Liverpool, Lancashire, England. [9]
At 48, on the 7th of February, 1871, her sister Elisabeth Fleming died, in Penninghame, Wigtownshire, Scotland, United Kingdom, at 53.[citation needed]
at 49, in 1871, she was living with William and two of their children, William and John in Toxteth Park, West Derby, Lancashire.[10]
At 50, in 1872, her brother William Fleming died, in Penninghame, Wigtownshire, Scotland, United Kingdom, at 47.[citation needed]
At 51, in 1873, her mother Jean (Jane) Fleming, (née Hannah died in Penninghame, Wigtownshire, Scotland, United Kingdom.[citation needed]
At 59, in 1881, she was living with William, child John, and also her sister and a granddaughter. at 17 Ruben Street, Everton, Lancashire.[11]
After 70, and after 1901 she died, probably in Lancashire, England, United Kingdom.[citation needed]
