Tom was born Thomas Bertram Brownlie Fleming, on the 3rd of October, 1902, in Woodlands, Southland, New Zealand.[1] the 1st of 2 sons of George Fleming and Margaret Gray.
At 1, on the 4th of February, his brother James Fergusson Fleming was born in Woodlands, Southland, New Zealand.
At 23, on the 20th of April, 1925, he became the Senior Secondary Assistant of Cromwell District High School, Cromwell, Otago, New Zealand, serving from the date of its inception.[2][citation needed]At 30, on the 14th of January, 1932, he married Moira Young in Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand,[3]
At 33, on the 17th of December, 1935, his daughter Patricia Bertram Fleming was born, in Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand.At 33, in 1935, he was a Teacher, living with Moira and Patricia in Inniscourt Street, Cromwell, Otago, New Zealand.[4]
At 34, on the 3rd of October, 1936, he died in Cromwell, Otago,[5] and was buried in the Andersons Bay Cemetery, Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand, Block 36, Plot 50, Class C.[6][7]
