Sarah Jane was born 20 Oct 1819, the daughter of William Flesher and Mary Gum. Sarah became the first wife of John Cibert DUNKLE 21 Apr 1839. They were the parents of 11 children. They lived in Ozark Township, Lawrence County, Missouri for about 10 years and then moved to Girard, Kanasas. She passed away 19 May 1875 and was buried in Dunkle Cemetery, Lawrence County, Missouri. Her husband married a second wife, they had no children together, and he did not pass until 1903.
