The Lawrence Family Website

The following was copied from this page on this website: http://lawrencefamhis.com/bondurant_ford-o/g0/p13.htm#i324

There is a list of sources at the bottom of the page, but I thought it would be a good idea to save them here as well:

  • Daughters of the American Revolution (James Ford Sr.), Charlotte Giffin Paget, 498083, Coral Gables, Florida.
  • Edythe Maxey Clark, The Maxeys of Virginia.
  • 1850 U. S. Census, Johnson, Knox, Lauderdale, & Lawrence Cos., Tennessee, U. S. Population Schedule, p. 140A, line 16, dwelling 635, family 644.
  • Roscoe Carlisle d'Armand and Virginia Carlisle d'Armand, Knox County, Tennessee Marriage Records 1792-1900, page 346.
  • Executive Board of the Tennessee Branch, Vol. Dedicated to Juanita Chisholm.

Major Life Events

Narrative

DAR application for Charlotte Giffin Paget has birth date of 27 September 1791 in Knox Co., Tennessee while Clark's The Maxey's of Virigina had the birth date as circa 1793 in Buckingham Co., Virginia, which agrees with the census of 1850 for Knox Co. The Virginia birth location is probably correct as her younger and older siblings are indicated as having been born in Virginia.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Judith by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Judith:
