Biography

Charles was born in 1719. He was baptised at Astbury, Cheshire on 11 June 1720.^[1]

Charles was a merchant dealing in African goods at Eccles, Lancashire, England. From 1761 he was a senior constable in Manchester, Lancashire, England. He lived at Eaton, Cheshire and Eccles, Lancashire.

On 28 April 1767 he married Ann Johnson at St Mary's, Manchester.^[2]

Charles passed away in 1789 and was buried at St Mary's, Manchester.
