Biography
John George FOUST, son of John FOUST and Anna Maria CLAPP, was born on 30 November 1775 in Orange Co., NC. Baptized at Brick Church, Guilford Co., NC.
He signed a will on 21 August 1845 in Knox Co., TN.
George was a resident of Knox Co., TN after moving there with his parents ca 1800. He was a farmer of considerable acreage in the northeastern part of the county, a few miles from Knoxville, TN.
He died in January 1848 at the age of 72 in Knox Co., TN.
