Parents unknown: It's doubtful that she is descended from Henry Fox. One source states her mother "was an Allison."

Possible spellings: Deborrah Barbara Fox. [1] Barbara Deborah (Thebie or Theble) speculation FOX. Thebia Fox. Found multiple versions of name. Using Deborah Barbara Fox.

- Ancestry.com has Deborah Barbara Fox born to Henry Fox (1650-1714) and Anne West (1662-1708), but she was born in 1715 after both parents had died so that information is unlikely to be correct. A possible date of birth of 1705 was listed, but, without sourcing, it appears someone may have edited the DOB to fit the parents.

His wife Barbara (Thebie, Deborah) married three times. Her 1st marriage was to John Cockrill of Nashville, whose descendants helped form the history of Dallas County, TX, USA. Her third marriage was to a man named "Kells". Barbara Fox is believed to have been related to the Fox, Claiborne families, although this connection has not been proven. Some sources list her father as Henry, "of King William County, Virginia."

Thebie-1 and Fox-4929 appear to represent the same person because: Thebie-1 was created and incorrectly linked as the wife of her son -- I corrected that already, and one of her potential given names was mistaken for a surname. Fox is her maiden name, though exact parentage is uncertain.

Her collection of given names (Deborah, Barbara, Thebia) apparently stems from inconsistencies in various secondary sources and should be listed as AKAs (not middle names).

I have her father as Henry Isaac Fox II and her mother as Sarah Anne West on a U.S., Sons of the American Revolution Membership Applications, 1889-1970. However, it's not really likely that those were her parents since they both died before she was born...
