Biography

When Sarah Jane Franklin was born on April 1, 1864, in Texas, her father, Charles Pinkney Franklin, was 38 and her mother, Elizabeth (Kirk) Franklin, was 19. She married James R Cary on March 31, 1880, in Benton County, Arkansas. They had nine children in 28 years. She died on June 23, 1936, in Twin Falls, Idaho, at the age of 72, and was buried in Buhl, Idaho.
