Biography

John Franklin was 10 JAN 1787 in Greene County, Tennessee. He was the son of Absalom Franklin and Margaret Gullet. He died as an infant on 12 Nov 1787 in Greene County, Tennessee. [1]

On 3 May 1852 James McGee, husband of Sarah Franklin McGee (oldest daughter of Absalom Franklin and Margaret Gullet Franklin), and administrator of the estate of Margaret Franklin, applied for a pension. With the application was an original family record , the family Bible of Margaret Franklin. It listed her birth and death and the births (and some deaths) of her children.
