Biography

According to George's daughter Pearl, George always called my great grandfather, Bill Franklin, "Bill Dickens". George & Bill were 1st cousins.

On his WWI Draft registration, 12 Sep 1918, Red Level, Covington Co., AL, he is described as being of medium height and build with light blue eyes and dark grey hair.

George was buried 01 Apr 1939 in Fairmount Baptist Church Cemetery, Red Level, Covington County, Alabama.[1]
