Biography

"Lydia Frantz, daughter of Michael and Susannah (Neher) Frantz, married Jacob Frantz, son of John and Anna (Ohmart) Frantz, on August 18, 1850. After her death in 1857, Jacob married Fannie Shull, a daughter of Peter Shull, on November 26, 1857. ... Jacob and Lydia had three children ..." (Frantz et al 1996, vol II, p 31, citing "Michael Frantz Descendants" published privately). Jacob and Lydia were double second cousins: great grandchilden of Michael Frantz & Magdalena Zug, and also John Nicholas Garst & Marie Elizabeth ?Statthalter (Frantz, ibid).

Burial: Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Virden, Macoupin County, Illinois, USA.
