Biography
Forgey was born in 1872. He passed away in 1955.
Forgey Fraser, will always be known as a farmer, and one who did not own his own property. * However, he did own property for a short time. This property was willed to him by his father, John A. Fraser. " He had to sell this property to his brother Schoefield Fraser, who was a grocery store owner at the time, to pay for groceries for his family." This information supplied by Raymond Fraser, son of Forgey Fraser. He was a long time member of Knob Creek Baptist Church (SBC), but later would transfer his membership to First Baptist Church of Columbia (SBC) [1]
