Dr Nicholas Gibbs Frazier was born in 1812 and graduated from Jefferson Med College in Philadelphia, then setting up practice in Rhea Co. In 1834 he and Capt Miles Vernon organized a volunteer comp for the Indian War in Florida. He was county clerk of Rhea for 1836-7 and a member of the State Legislature in 1840. He was one the largest landowners in Rhea Co.
Nicholas and Hannah had two daughters: Minerva McKarny (1844-1870) and Emily Pauline (1849-1875). He died in 1850. [1]
