Biography

Elisha Freeman may be one generation earlier. It is a fact that John Freeman listed here as father had a son Elisha; however that does not rule out an earlier Elisha who is obviously of age and a landowner by 1750.(See below). This was a merge of two old GEDCOMs so it is a work in progress.

Elisha Freeman may have been born between much earlier, I believe as early as 1728. See tax records attached to son John Freeman and theoretical family tree. Support for the earlier date is found in the tax records of old Dobbs County, where he is listed in 1750
