DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Sarah by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Sarah:
Cathy is correct; there are two Sarah French's. This Sarah is the daughter of William and Elizabeth; the other Sarah is the daughter of John and Joanne/Joan. I created French-10973 for the wife of John Trull. I'm afraid some of the sources on this profile are now incorrect. I was unable to find a birth record for this Sarah French, but did find the marriage record and edited that date.
There is a problem with this. John Trull didn't die until 1704. This shows his kids born between Jonathan Peake's kids. I show that the Sarah French that married John Trull was the daughter of John French (French-742). She was born Oct 1637 (old calendar), whereas this Sarah was born in 1638. Since in his will, William left something to the eldest daughter of Jonathan Peake, it was likely his daughter that married Jonathan Peake. (Oh, I just found in The Great Migration that he even says that John's daughter, Sarah, married John Trull.)
