John Elson came from VA and moved to Powhatan Co., when he was young, staying there a short time. From there he went to Bedford Co. where he lived until 1798. Then he went to DeWitt Co., IL. John was a Revolutionary War Veteran. Widow Dolly made her application for a pension from Russell Co., KY
French-306 and French-1120 appear to represent the same person because: I believe French-306 and French-1120 appear to be the same person because they have the same wife (Dolly Spencer) and child(Littleberry).
