It has been suggested by family oral tradition that Minnie was a full-blooded Native American. However, according to text accompanying Mary Evelyn Venable family documentation, Minnie Froggett, may have been only part indian. Minnie is said to have died when her daughter, Mary Lillian Harrell, was 9 years old, which would place her death about 1894.
