I am searching for info on children and possible descendants of Rev. War Vet Robert Fryatt/Friatt.
Robert Fryatt was born 8 October 1758 in Frederick County, Virginia (now Berkeley County, W. V.) to Barthollomew and Rosanna Fryatt. Birth and Baptism recorded in "Register of Morgan's Chapel, Bunker Hill, Berkeley Co., WV". He was also named in his father's will.
He served as a Pvt. in the Rev War from VA.
He married Rachel Chenoweth 24 March 1783 in Berkeley Co., WV. He married Susannah Grant 9 July 1804 in Christian Co., KY. Rachel prob dead by 1810.
When Fryatt left Berkeley Co., he moved to the Falls of the Ohio River (then to Sumner Co., Tennessee, then to Christian Co., Kentucky then to Clear Creek (Union Co., IL) and then to Jackson Co., IL abt 1821. May have remarried in Jackson Co. bef 1830, but records burned for pre 1843 marrs.
No other Fryatt's appear in same county as Robert in the 1810, 1820, 1830 & 1840 census listings, and of these only the 1810 shows a child (female under age 10) in home. So it appears that if he had children who survived to adulthood they were probably girls. Can find no other early Fryatt marrs in the counties he lived in.
Our local DAR chapter is honoring Robert Fryatt with the dedication of a memorial veteran's marker at his gravesite south of Murphysboro, Jackson Co., IL on June 11, 2005, and we would very much like to locate living descendants if there are any, to invite them to the ceremony. If anyone can provide any leads, I would be grateful.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Robert by comparing test results with other carriers of his ancestors' Y-chromosome or mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Robert:
