If Martin Fugate born 1727 has a son William Fugate, then I am in the direct Y line with him. My Y DNA does match Colbert O Fugate his brother. Ged Y Kit AC7095590 and KH2336618 Match in Family Tree DNA N260170. I match Josias Fugate whoever his father is and whenever he was born. I also match Peter A Alestion Born 1610 married Nancy Jane Adams.

Robert I am a direct descendant of Colbert O Fugate. Martin had a son named William. I will compare your ged match kit to mine and see what our matches are. I am in Kentucky where the Blue Fugate's are from.

Robert J Fugate born 02-27-1932 living will, be 90 Feb 27th. I am a Y RM269 match to Josias Fugate born ? and Peter A Aleston Fugate born 1610. My genographic R1b, M343 (subclade R1b1a2, M269, Holographic RFT25389, GED matches AX7095590 and KH2336618 I have also done the big Y. My MTDNA Haplogroup u4b1b1. The Blue People of troublesome Creek story is NOT about this Martin Fugate and should be removed, along with an explanation to clear up the confusion. This referenced story is about a Martin Fugate that was born 50 years later, married a different woman, lived in another place and had different parents. These two Martins have been repeatedly conflated on all on-line sites although none of their information is the same.
