Biography

Jeremiah Fuller was a Connecticuter.

Fifth Generation descendant of Mayflower passenger, Samuel Fuller.

Jeremiah Fuller, son of Abraham Fuller and Lydia Gillett, was born April 3, 1778 in Kent, Litchfield, Connecticut, United States[1] where he passed away on October 22, 1585.[2]

Jeremiah married Dolly Stone who was born June 20, 1783 and passed away September 10, 1867. They lived in the home built by his father, Abraham. A few rods away was a house, probably built by Deacon Joseph Fuller (1738--40) which Jeremiah tore down about 1805 before he rebuilt his house 1807. Jeremiah and Dolly had eight children all born in Kent. Fuller, William Hyslop. records the first six children and the 1850 US Census records two additional children as well as John and Jeremiah Jr.:[2][3]

  1. Abraham (6 Nov 1805 - 15 Dec 1850).
  2. John M. (12 Dec 1806 - )
  3. Charles Wildman (2 Feb 1810 - )
  4. Ashbel Fuller (1816-1873)
  5. Abraham (15 Aug 1816 - )
  6. Jeremiah (30 Dec 1824 - 9 Oct 1855). He married Mary A. Willams and they had no children.
  7. Mary (born about 1830)
  8. Olive Fuller (born about 1832)

Jeremiah passed away at 80 on October 22, 1858.[4] His burial was at Congregational Church Cemetery in Kent, Litchfield County, Connecticut, USA.[5]
