She married Jabez Wood 5 April 1716 at Middleborough[4] and they had eight children. Jabez was called senior in the births of his last six children to distinguish him from Jabez, the son of David, born one year later who married Hannah and also had children in Middleboro.
In 1721, Mercy and her husband Jabez Wood signed a receipt for her share of her brother, Samuel Fuller's estate.[5]
Mercy died sometime before 03 November 1737 when Jabez published marriage intentions with his second wife Mary Thompson at Ipswich.[1]
Children of Jabez and Mercy (Fuller) Wood were born in Middleborough:[1]

I've done a bit of searching and proof isn't coming up easily. The "silver book" doesn't go beyond giving the birth dates of Mercy (Fuller) Wood's children; neither Jabez nor Mercy left a probate record that I can find (nor did the GSMD). Mary's 1716 birth is a good match on her age at death, so that's a positive. I think I'd work through Mary's siblings to see if any of them left a will that mentions Mary or her children. Plymouth Probates are here. Then failing that, perhaps a dig through land records to see if Jabez gifted/sold land to the Laphams. Deed records for Plymouth County are here, If those fail, perhaps try the Middleborough antiquarian, although they're not online and you'll probably have to find someone local to look for you in a local library or contact the Middleboro Historical Society. Just throwing out ideas for further research.
Could someone from the Project help confirm or deny this relationship?
Thank you, Jennifer
