Matthew Fuller has now been detached as a son of Edward Fuller. It is thought that he is the son of Edward Fuller's wife who's name is unknown who married first a man who's name was also Fuller. This is being researched by the Mayflower Society as well as the Fuller descendents.

Allow me to wholeheartedly support the correction of (my 7th gg) Elizabeth's mother: she's the daughter of Capt. Matthew Fuller and Frances [Unknown] Fuller -- NOT the daughter of Frances _(Hyde)_ Fuller, who married a different Matthew -- and is the granddaughter of Edward Fuller. This has been accepted by the GSMD for years. Capt. Matthew, in his 1678 will, _names his daughter Elizabeth Rowley wife of Moses_. That alone should set this debate to rest.

Quality sources added show that she was Edward Fuller's granddaughter, and was the Elizabeth Fuller who married Moses Rowley.

Profile managers: please see the (recently corrected) profile of Capt. Matthew Fuller, Fuller-7644 [slated for a merge with the authoritative Fuller-117]. This Fuller-79 profile of Elizabeth (Fuller) Rowley, and the parallel but also inaccurate Fuller-5946, both perpetuate the confusion between Capt. Matthew Fuller -- whose wife Frances's birth surname is NOT known -- and his cousin Matthew, who married Frances Hyde_. The latter Matthew, whose 1603 birth is the one recorded at Redenhall Parish in Norfolk, was the son of John Fuller. Capt. Matthew Fuller, who was the father of my ancestress Elizabeth (Fuller) Rowley, was the son of Mayflower passenger Edward Fuller, and the grandson of Robert Fuller (believed to be a brother of John). I can edit but would prefer managers do it.

Please note the Samuel Rowley attached is not the husband of this Elizabeth b. 1627 but husband of an Elizabeth b. 1693. [See here

Fuller-4967 and Fuller-79 do not represent the same person because: Different death years and locations.
Fuller-4967 and Fuller-79 appear to represent the same person because: STOP! These two MAY NOT be the same. The only connection is via the last name Rowley. I was searching for Elizabeth Fuller's and this caught my eye. Please review carefully before merging to ensure that they ARE the same person. If they are the same please complete the merge and then there might be another merge for the son, John. Thanks!

Fuller-4801 and Fuller-79 appear to represent the same person because: My mothers GED (Beulah Mae Moberly Smith) has Elizabeth Fuller born at Plymouth, Mass. Good chance its a match seeing there's no other family involved

I think that two Elizabeth Fullers are being confused in this profile. One from Eastern Massachusetts and one from the Connecticut Valley.
