Joseph was born c. 1758. Joseph Fuqua ... He passed away in 1813. [1] The birth date is a guess, probably based on his marriage date.

Charlotte County, Virginia, 30 June 1779 [marriage bonds filed] Joseph Fuqua, Jnr. & Catherine Palmer, spinster, d of John Palmer, Gent., deced. sec. Richd Booker. Catherine Palmer's letter witnessed by Peter Stubbs and Mary Stubbs.[2]

Catherine died abt. 1800 at Woodford County, Kentucky.[3]

Joseph was an American Revoltuionary War Soldier: 1st Lieutenant in 1778, and Captain in 1780.[3]
