William Gadberry has Irish ancestors.
When William Alfred 'Alf' Gadberry was born in 1855 in Arkansas, his father, James, was 43 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 33. He married Leatha Clayton between 1870 & 1880; their children, as presented on the census records were:
- Willie (1875)
- John Thomas (1877)[1]
- Elmer (Mar. 1880)
He died between 1880 and 1887 (when Leatha had a daughter, Ada, with Bruch Brusco).[2]
