When Arthur Jefferson Gadberry was born on March 4, 1882[1] (or 1892[2]), in Jackson, Arkansas, his father, James, was 27 and his mother, Mary, was 24. He married Osie Leona Wood on January 1, 1912, in Sequoyah, Oklahoma.[3] He died on July 24, 1959, in Yuba, California,
[4] at the age of 77, and was buried in Olivehurst, California.[5]
