The offspring of William Gaffney and Bridget Jones should also include my great-great-grandfather Patrick. He was born in 1812, and married Maria Hutton, and immigrated to US via Liverpool on the ship Judah Touro, arriving in New Orleans, December, 1859, with my great-grandfather Stephen barely a year old. They went up the Mississippi River to Galena, ILL, and later bought a farm in Jackson County, IA. In 1872 he went further west to Greene County.
