Biography
This profile was created because it is thought that Richard Galgey is the nephew of Patrick Galgey. This does involve a certain amount of conjecture, but Richard and Patrick are (almost) certainly related to each other.
Richard is related to Patrick Galgey because he was a sponsor for the baptisms of Patrick's daughters Barbara and Mary.
Richard is at least twenty years older than Patrick's son William Galgey. Richard must have been at least thirteen years old when he was a sponsor at Barbara Galgey's baptism in 1789.
