Claude was born about 1874. He was the son of Blanche and Benjamin Whippy Garrard.[1]
He lived at Hawkhurst Court, Sussex, England.
Claude married Florence Adela Hare (daughter of Hon. Hugh Henry Hare and Georgiana Caroline Browne) on 2 August 1898 at Wokingham, Berkshire, England.[2]
They had a daughter; Eileen Christian Florence Kathleen Eleanor Garrard (1899-1983), who married Dr Harold Whyte-Venables, having issue Gilbert Whyte-Venables (1925-2011), Dr Francis Whyte-Venables (1927-2001) and Dr David Whyte-Venables (1932-2007).
Census 31 Mar 1901: Living in Market Place, Wokingham Within, Berkshire, England with his wife Florence. Aged 26. No children recorded.
He probably passed away in 1932 at the age of 58.[4]
