Elijah's mistress Results of DNA testing of a descendant of Nancy Walker oldest son, Robert Walker (1812-1905), has confirmed that Elijah Garrett was the father of this son. Robert Walker was born in Virginia & traveled with his mother & others, lead by Elijah Garrett, to Overton (later Pickett) Co., TN. Garrett was married to another woman, Mary Cayce that bore him a large family. He was a preacher & lived near Nancy's homeplace. It has always been rumored that he was the father of many of Nancy's 10-11 children, but this DNA results only confirm that this oldest child was. It is only speculation that he fathered her other children.

Garrett-5368 and Garrett-3360 do not represent the same person because: Since Elijah and Isaac are father and son, they should not be merged.
