Biography

Arthur was born in 1892, the son of George William Gason and Esther (Cross)^[1]

Arthur was only 6 months old when his father died in hospital and his mother collapsed and died on hearing the news.

He was placed in the Protestant Orphanage Asylum in Geelong, along with his sister Louisa and other siblings.^[2][3]

In 1915 he married Mabel Margaret Gibson in Victoria, Australia^[4]

He passed away in 1973 aged 80 years^[5]
