Biography

Martha, Patsy ^[1] was born in 1763. She was the daughter of John Gaulden and Susannah Broomfield. She married Francis Richardson in 1784 ^[2]. In 1810 This family migrated to Wilkinson County Mississippi ^[3]. She passed away in 1833.

In her Will (Wilkinson County, MS), January 23, 1832, She mentions her brother Dempsey, son, John G., son James B., son Jared N., son-in-law Hiram Singleton, son W. H., son Francis R., grandaughter Martha Gibson, grandaughter Mary E. Richardson, grandaughter Margaret Richardson (as youngest daughter of John G.) grandaughter Martha Richardson (as daughter of Francis) and cousin Polly Richardson as widow of Richard Richardson.

In Francis Richardson's Will (Wilkinson City, January 29, 1821) he does not mention son James B. Francis Richardson's Tombstone: "...was the father of 6 sons and 3 daughters".^[4]
