04 September 1888, Gorham was widowed when Mary passed away.

He passed away 23 March 1900, at the age of 64 yrs., 6 months and 10 days. BURIAL with his wife and parents in Genthner Cemetery West Waldoboro, Lincoln County, Maine, He may have been originally buried in the French cemetery, then later here, as there is a second burial record which gives his DOD as 23 March 1900. [1] A man with the surname of French was buried a second time in the Genthner Cemetery, so this is a possibility.
