Sarah Gibbs, a daughter of John Gibbs and Mary Efland was born in 1768 in Orange, North Carolina. She married Caswell Sharp about 1782-6 at Orange Co. North Carolina and they had at least ten children listed below. Henry's son George b.1809, married Rebecca Snodderly of Campbell Co.
Her father, Nicholas's will, dated 1810, probated 1817, lists his children as: seven daughters, Mary, Sarah, Catherine, Silphenia, Elizabeth, "Sophia's' heirs," and Barbara; sons, John, David, Jacob, George, Nicholas, and Daniel. [1]
Sarah died in 1849 and is buried in the Lost Creek Cemetery, Union co, Tennessee. [2][3]
