When Lucy was about 16 she married on 25 October 1779 in Amherst Co., VA.[1]
Lucy died at the age of about 52 after August 1815 in Virginia.[2]
Chancery Court Case:
In 1805, Lucy Hudson, the widow of Robert Hudson, who was lately intermarried with Rush Hudson, Jr. after the death of her husband Robert Hudson, brought a Chancery Court action, as the Guardian of her children Bennet Hudson, Edmund Hudson, and Pamelia (?) Hudson, against the Executors of the Estate of Joshua Hudson seeking an order compelling them to pay to her children the bequests found in the residuary clause of Joshua Hudson's Will. on March 24, in the 30th year of the Commonwealth, the Court ordered the Sheriff of Amherst County to arrest Pulliam Sandidge and Reuben Hudson and to bring them before Court to answer Contempt of Court charges.
