Biography
Anna Barbara "Maria" Gingerich/ aka Kingery, is a daughter of Johannes Gingerich and Magdalene Erb. Barbara's father Johannes Heinrich Gingerich was also known by the surname "Kingery," and is the progenitor of the Kingery family of Lancaster county, Pennsylvania.
About 1733, to October, 1734, in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, Maria married Johann Georg Meyer
In 1762, Anna married Michael Sharer/Scharer. Records transcribed by Pennsylvania Genealogical Magazine in 1985 call her "spinster," not "widow."
John Gingerich's will in 1766 names his daughter "Ann, wife of Michael Serrer."
