Joseph Girard with father Joseph Girard and mother Madeleine Marchand is born and baptized 2 June 1738 in Pointe-de-Lévy (Lauzon, Canada, Nouvelle-France. He married Marie Josephe Pilet 2 Aug 1762 in Boucherville. No further trace of him after this. But the name is NOT Durard at the time. Not a French name particularly, nor is what was entered as middle name for him.
