leger's Stag paintings. She painted one as her wedding present to my parents in 1948. I've seen it almost every day of my life. from their NYC apartment to my condo in Kingsport TN. It still has pride-of-place in my living room.
I am not super familiar with this site, so I only just realized I can find out with one button how related someone is (in theory, I know some records can be inaccurate or nonbiological connections that aren't marked). I know 5th cousins twice removed isn't that close, but I seem to never run into any cousins who are much closer. I suspect some of the closer cousins I have aren't big on genealogy.
I just figured I would share and thank you for your help in understanding my family. I wish we were closer in proximity- it's a little lonely down here in Massachusetts sometimes, and my close by family don't really seem to want to meet up except for my aunts.
