Lieutenant Robert Givins served in the American Revolution. He was in Colonel Brooks' regiment, January 1777 to December 1779. He was at Cherry Valley after the massacre, in Captain Asa Coburn's 2nd company. He was also at Fort Herkimer, in Captain Asa Coburn's Light Infantry.
[4][5] Robert is a DAR Patriot, but it has been over 100 years, so he needs to be proven again.[6]
Robert passed away 26 September 1810, in Brunswick, Maine.[7] He is buried in the First Parish Cemetery in Brunswick, Cumberland County, Maine.[8]
