Birth

Birth: 5 OCT 1738, Woodstock, Windham, Connecticut Colony

He was a soldier in the Revolutionary War and marched on the Lexington Alarm with the Woodstock Company to Boston, under Captain Nathaniel Marcy.

He was a farmer in Amherst 1789-1810 when he sold his farm to Luther Fox.

Death

Death: Amherst, Hampshire, Massachusetts, USA - he is buried at South Cemetery, Belchertown, Hampshire, Massachusetts, USA. Headstone lists him as David Goodale, and his wife as Goddell.

The marriage between David Goodell and Hannah Abbott was performed by Rev. Stephen Williams.

David Goodell was a soldier in the American revolution and marched with the Woodstock company to Boston, under the command of Capt. Nathaniel Marcy. He resettled in Readsboro, Vermont after the revolution.
