Ozias Goodwin was born 1 Jul 1596 in Bocking, Essex, England, son of Thomas and Margaret (_____) Goodwin.^{[citation needed]}

He was brother of William Goodwin (although Anderson does not name parents in William's Great Migration Profile).^[1]The evidence is in the records of Hadley, founded by William Goodwin in 1659. (also see image)^[2]

He married about 1627 (possibly 1 Jul 1627?) Mary Woodward daughter of Robert of Braintree, England. In 1639 he became a resident of Hartford, Connecticut.^[3]

He died before 31 Apr 1683 in Hartford, Connecticut.
